នៅរសៀលថ្ងៃទី២ ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ លោក មាស គឹមហេង រដ្ឋលេខាធិការក្រសួងការបរទេស និងសហប្រតិបត្តិការអន្តរជាតិ បានទទួលជួបសម្តែងការគួរសម និងពិភាក្សាការងារជាមួយ លោក Christian DesRoches ឯកអគ្គរដ្ឋទូតវិសាមញ្ញ និងពេញសមត្ថភាពនៃប្រទេសកាណាដា ប្រចាំព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា នៅទីស្តីការក្រសួង។
ភាគីទាំងពីរបានសម្តែងនូវការពេញចិត្តចំពោះសន្ទុះវិជ្ជមានក្នុងទំនាក់ទំនងកម្ពុជា-កាណាដា ហើយបានអះអាងនូវការតាំងចិត្តជាថ្មីក្នុងការពង្រឹងកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការ និងទំនាក់ទំនងរវាងប្រទេសទាំងពីរបន្ថែមទៀត។ ថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំទាំងពីរ ក៏បានពិភាក្សាអំពីការត្រៀមរៀបចំកិច្ចប្រជុំពិគ្រោះយោបល់ទ្វេភាគីលើកទី២ រវាងក្រសួងការបរទេសទាំងពីរ ដែលនឹងប្រព្រឹត្តទៅនៅសប្តាហ៍ក្រោយនៅទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញ។ នៅក្នុងជំនួបនោះ លោក រដ្ឋលេខាធិការ ក៏បានជម្រាបជូន ឯកឧត្តមឯកអគ្គរដ្ឋទូត អំពីការវិវឌ្ឍថ្មីៗទាក់ទងនឹងជម្លោះព្រំដែនកម្ពុជា-ថៃ ផងដែរ៕
On the afternoon of 2 February 2026, His Excellency Meas Kim Heng, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a courtesy call from His Excellency Christian DesRoches, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Ministry.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the positive momentum in Cambodia-Canada relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation and ties between the two countries. They discussed the preparations for the upcoming 2nd Bilateral Consultations between the two Foreign Ministries to be held next week in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. During the meeting, His Excellency the Secretary of State also informed the Ambassador of the recent developments regarding the Cambodia-Thailand border conflict.
