The Cambodian Ministry of National Defence wishes to reject the publication by the Amarin News page alleging that Cambodia has fired on Thai forces in many vulnerable areas. We assert that the content published in this Thai media outlet is false, fabricated, and intended solely to malign Cambodia. In fact, it is the Thai military that launched the attack and continues to shoot, violate, and invade Cambodia’s sovereign territory.
Cambodia demands that the Thai side immediately cease all deliberate dissemination of false information aimed at diverting attention from its violations of international law. This disinformation campaign is intended to paint Cambodia in a negative light, thereby justifying the use of more brutal weapons against Cambodia.
