អ្នកនាំពាក្យក្រសួងការពារជាតិ នៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា បានចេញសេចក្តីប្រកាសព័ត៌មាន ដោយបានសម្តែងការសោកស្តាយចំពោះឧបទ្ទវហេតុនៃការផ្ទុះគ្រាប់មីនដែលបណ្តាលឱ្យកងទ័ពថៃមួយចំនួនរងរបួសនៅពេលដើរល្បាតចូលតំបន់ចម្ការមីនចាស់ដែលបន្សល់ទុកពីសង្គ្រាមស៊ីវិលរបស់កម្ពុជា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១០ ខែវិច្ឆិកា ឆ្នាំ២០២៥។
ជាមួយគ្នានេះ ក្រសួងការពារជាតិកត់សម្គាល់ឃើញថា ចាប់តាំងពីថ្ងៃម្សិលមិញរហូតមកដល់ថ្ងៃនេះ បណ្តាសារព័ត៌មានរបស់ថៃមួយចំនួនបានចេញផ្សាយដោយដកស្រង់សម្តីថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំប្រទេសថៃ និងមន្ត្រីនៃកងយោធាថៃដែលបានចោទប្រកាន់មកលើកម្ពុជាថាបានដាក់គ្រាប់មីនថ្មី និងបណ្តាលឱ្យយោធារបស់ខ្លួនជាន់ផ្ទុះ និងរងរបួសធ្ងន់ នៅខេត្តព្រះវិហារ។

ក្រសួងការពារជាតិ សូមបញ្ជាក់យ៉ាងមុតមាំថា ចាប់តាំងពីក្លាយជារដ្ឋភាគីនៃអនុសញ្ញាអូតាវ៉ា កម្ពុជាតែងតែប្រកាន់ខ្ជាប់នូវគោលការណ៍ និងកាតព្វកិច្ចរបស់ខ្លួននៅក្រោមច្បាប់អន្តរជាតិ ដោយមិនដែលដាក់មីនថ្មីដែលគំរាមកំហែងដល់សន្តិសុខ និងសុវត្ថិភាពរបស់មនុស្សជាតិនោះឡើយ។
ជាការពិតណាស់ បើទោះបីជាមានកិច្ចខិតខំប្រឹងប្រែង ក្នុងការបោសសម្អាតមីនអស់រយៈពេលជាច្រើនទសវត្សរ៍កន្លងមកនេះក៏ដោយ គ្រាប់មីនមិនទាន់ផ្ទុះដែលជាសំណល់ពីសង្គ្រាមនៅតែបន្តគំរាមកំហែងដល់សន្តិសុខ និងសុវត្ថិភាពប្រជាជនស្លូតត្រង់កម្ពុជានៅតាមតំបន់ជាច្រើន ជាពិសេសនៅតាមតំបន់ព្រំដែនកម្ពុជា និងប្រទេសជិតខាង ក្នុងនោះរួមទាំងថៃផងដែរ។ ក្នុងន័យនេះ ក្រសួងការពារជាតិអំពាវនាវឱ្យភាគីថៃចៀសវាងការដើរល្បាតចូលក្នុងតំបន់ចម្ការមីនចាស់ៗ ជាពិសេសតំបន់ដែលត្រូវបានអន្តរជាតិទទួលស្គាល់ថាជាចម្ការមីនដែលជាសំណល់ពីសង្គ្រាម ដើម្បីចៀសវាងគ្រោះថ្នាក់ដោយសារការផ្ទុះមីនចាស់ទាំងនេះ ដែលអាចបង្កឱ្យមានភាពតានតឹងដោយមិនចាំបាច់។

Her Excellency Lieutenant General Maly Socheata, the Spokeswoman of the Ministry of National Defence, would like to inform the general public, both national and international media outlets, as follows:
The Ministry of National Defence expresses its regret regarding the recent mine explosion incident on November 10, 2025, that resulted in injuries to Thai soldiers while they were patrolling into the minefield that is the remnants of past conflicts.
In the meantime, it was observed that from yesterday until today, several Thai media outlets published reports citing Thai leaders’ and Thai military officials’ assertions accusing Cambodia of laying new landmines, causing Thai soldiers to be trampled and seriously injured in Preah Vihear province. The Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia firmly rejects accusations made by the Thai side against Cambodia.
The Ministry of National Defence strongly affirms that since Cambodia became a State Party to the Ottawa Convention, it has remained fully and consistently in compliance with the principles and obligations of international law. Cambodia reaffirms that it has not used or placed any new landmines that threaten the security and safety of civilians.
It is true that despite relentless efforts over the past several decades to clear landmines, the unexploded ordnance that are the remnants of past conflicts still pose threats to the security and safety of the Cambodian civilian in various areas, especially along the border areas between Cambodia and its neighboring countries, including Thailand.
In this context, the Ministry of National Defence urges Thailand to avoid patrolling in old minefield areas, particularly in areas internationally recognized as mine-contaminated zones resulting from past conflicts, to prevent the potential danger of exploding old landmines that could cause unnecessary tensions.
According to the Cambodian 4th Military Region, after the incident, both military forces on the front lines had communicated with each other, and, as of now, the situation remains calm, with no tension having been reported.
The Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia remains committed to working closely with Thailand to promote peace and stability between the two countries, especially ensuring the security and safety of civilians, in accordance with the Joint Declaration between Cambodia and Thailand signed on October 26, 2025.
