As scheduled, the meeting of the General Border Committee (GBC) Secretariat-level between Cambodia and Thailandwill begin soon in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Today’s meeting is focused primarily on the agenda-setting and is expected to conclude by noon or, at the latest, around 3:00 PM. A press statement regarding this morning’s meeting is expected to be released. As for the outcomes, they will not be known until the final day of the meeting, which is set for August 7, 2025. That meeting will be the extraordinary GBC session at the ministerial level between the Ministries of National Defense of Cambodia and Thailand.
